Nut Based Drinks and Orgeat Syrups
This site is filled with nut based drinks. They show up quietly, the same way they do in baking or cooking — for body, softness, and depth. Pistachios are a colorful replacement for almonds when mixed into a tropical ginger drink. Roasted chestnuts are swirled into melty chocolate and served hot. Homemade orgeat syrups are the perfect accompaniment to bar cocktails.
Pistachio
Pistachio appears more than once. It has a soft richness that works well in both warm and cold drinks. It blends easily, carries other flavors, and adds weight without heaviness. Pistachio eggnog is filled with the soothing mallow of nuts, this take on the holiday classic gets a decadent upgrade with the addition of nuts. Pistachio orgeat is a mellow substitution for classic almond orgeat in tropical drinks, try it in the coconut ginger fizz!

Pistachio Eggnog is filled with with ground pistachio and eggs, serve sprinkled with a dash of nutmeg.

Pistachio orgeat is a flavor boosting syrup, perfect for shaking into cocktails or warm mugs of milk. Roasted and ground pistachio is laced with orange blossom water and stirred into a thick sugary syrup.

Add pistachio orgeat to coconut and ginger beer for a tropical cocktail.
Chestnut
Chestnuts are mild and slightly sweet. They work best in warm drinks and pair naturally with chocolate. These recipes are perfect for cooler Fall and Winter months. Chestnuts add thick texture to hot chocolate, making a cozy warming beverage. Add chestnut orgeat to espresso martinis to deepen coffees indulgent flavor.
