Lavender Simple Syrup

A simple 1:1 syrup infused with dried lavender — just sugar, water, and culinary lavender simmered together, then strained. Use it to sweeten lemonade, iced tea, or cocktails, or drizzle it over fruit and desserts. Keeps in the fridge for about two weeks.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Sugar granulated
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp lavender flowers

Instructions
 

  • Add water and sugar to saucepan and stir over medium heat until dissolved. Dont bring to a boil, heat until sugar is just dissolved.
  • Remove pan from heat and let cool.
  • Add lavender flowers and stir to infused into simple syrup.
  • Steep lavender flowers in syrup for 2 hours before straining out.
  • Store lavender simple syrup in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
